So I wanted to start it. I know many have made posts, but I thought maybe people would post in one thread? We have so many members from outside the US. So many museums! I want this thread so badly! Especially from the museums I haven’t seen. So this is Houston Museum of Natural Science
I would like a list of all the museums or exhibitions with jewelery and gems so that I can travel to see the jewelery I recently received some photos of the Crown Jewels at the Louvre.
I have a ton of photos from the museum of natural history in Washington DC if you want me to post them. Although I’m sure they’ve been posted before...If it’s a yes, colored gemstones or mineral specimens?
From the Museum of Natural History in Washington DC:
One of my favorites - aquamarine that took my breath away...and several others. Second to last is a 420+ct morganite.
The Aurora Collection (Aurora Pyramid of Hope) at the Natural History Museum in London. Natural coloured diamonds with fluorescence ❤ My pictures don't do it justice, worth googling for better images and videos
