Step Two - 5 Stone Right Hand Ring

My design is complete.... five surprise stone on each side.... higher on the sides so it doesn't go between my fingers... and the curves I was looking for... I'm very pleased.... so about two weeks....

Oh....you are absolutely going to love this ring. My RHR 5-stone is the same setting. It is 1.60 ctw (.32 ct stones) and my ring size is a 6 so we will be sisters. Of course, your stones are TDF and are nicer than mine. I've attached a couple of pictures to show you the look on the hand.

I can't wait to see your ring. Please post lots of pictures once you receive it!

Hi Mayk,

I'm not sure that you'd want the sides to be raised (?!). There shouldn't be any problem with the sides being stuck between your fingers, as when you think about it how often do we actually close our fingers?

I'd go the exact opposite and have the sides wrap around yr finger - both for aesthetic as well as comfort reasons. Check out H.O.T 5-stone thread, it's 5 graduating stones but the style should be the same in that the whole ring should be curved and wrapped around. I wish I'd waited to see hers first before I had mine done cos hers is so much more gorgeous!

I'll check to be sure but I did try on a bunch and the ones with the more rounded sides were more comfortable...I tried on a 2 tcw that wasn't comfortable on my hand and then tried on another one with the side like you see that was comfortable... I think it will be subtle. At least in the drawing it works for me IRL... EEEK.. The nail biting of custom.

They did look very very similar... And really close to the same size.. Thank you so much for the picture.... It gives a great perspective....
