I love the color of your aquamarine, Smith, and with colored stones that's the most important thing (as you know). The size is also spectacular, of course. And how can you go wrong with 18K yellow gold and side diamonds? It's a dream ring. Truly heavenly. I would love to own it. I am so glad you bought that one!!!

So glad you like it! I thought you didn't, so hadn't posted, and I was very sad.

Took me about five minutes to get used to the fact of a bigger ring on my finger. You are so right! Always buy something huge! ETA: I am basically never going to forget that you said it to me. It was the ultimate enabling. I've never read such a juicy, fruity encouragement to buy the biggest, sparkliest, in-your-face jewels that will take you to the edge of your budget and back. Do you know, I have not had one single second of buyer's remorse over that ring, even though I was not bargaining on spending 2.5k that trip. The ring is really partly yours, you know. I think it's infused with your spirit. I know! I'm going to call it my Deb ring. That sounds so perfect.

I'm going home next week and I'm definitely going to wear my Deb ring.
