steam cleaner for household tasks and jewelry?

I was thinking of buying a jewel jet, but then realised that I could get a steam cleaner for home cleaning tasks as well for only a little more.

Temperature is stated to be 250 F and 35 psi.

Jewel Jet is 25 psi and couldn''t find the temp.

Is there any reason (other than the inconvience of storing the larger machine) why I shouldn''t use a home steam cleaner to clean jewelry?

I seem to remember someone mentioning using an espresso machine for steam cleaning... never use a steam cleaner before though.

I am using my automatic espresso machine (15bar - not sure of the psi but read somewhere that 9bar is eqv. to 135psi) also for steam cleaning my jewelry. The result is excellent! ... never use the home steam cleaner before, so I help you there.
