Hi Pricescope-
I'd appreciate your advice with finding some starter stones for my young niece who has recently developed an interest in colored gemstones after visiting the Smithsonian collection (who wouldn't??). I want to help foster her interest but given her age (she's we wouldn't want to buy anything too expensive just yet. I looked at the recommended vendors list but these are of course much higher quality and price than we're looking for. On the other end of the spectrum, I've found a lot of cheap things that look no different from plastic, and I would like for it to have a little sparkle and shine!
Do you have any leads on where I might find some relatively inexpensive faceted stones that aren't too lousy in quality? I would like to keep it below $40 per stone. She loves all colors but is particular to pinks and purples.
TIA!
