Star Sapphire

It’s been so long since I posted a thread here, I’ve forgotten how to do it. But I just bought a beautiful new ring and wanted to share.

It’s a c. 4.5 carat star sapphire in 14k gold surrounded by rose cut diamonds. It is far from perfect (star is subtle, colour is greyish, visible inclusions, etc) but I LOVE it. Bought from Etsy. It reminds me of the sun shimmering over the sea on an Irish beach - cloudy, greyish blue with hints of lavender but just gorgeous.
