Hello,
I am considering using the bench at Stanley Brown Jewelist in Chicago to design a halo setting for a family stone? Does anyone here have any experience with this Jeweler? I have used the search function but no hits come up on any of the forums. The local newspapers (NewCity, Reader, etc.) rate the jeweler well, but the number of responses are usually so small that I was hoping to gather more opinions. I promise to "show the ring" if I decide to go ahead with the setting.
Incidentally, what is the difference between a "jewelist" and a jeweler, if there is one?
