I'm aiming for a unique look, simple and elegant, not flashy. I've decided on a square step cut in a setting similar to Tiffany's Lucida cut stones, http://www.tiffany.com/html/shopping_static/engagement.asp. I haven't gotten any quotes in an Asscher cut diamond, but I have found a few square (L:W < 1.05) emerald cuts. Anyone have a feeling on these, especially versus Asscher cut prices?
