All I'm saying is that I don't like how the left is always trying to paint this picture of republicans not caring about the poor (white or brown). Like we're all greedy and could care less if little babies are starving. Not only are most poor people white, but they mostly live in rural areas too, not the inner cities. On top of that, we have some of the "richest" poor people in the world. America is very lucky in that respect.
When someone points out that republicans give a lot to charity, the usual response is that they give it to churches, which are tax exempt, and so they just do it for the write off. It's like we can't win.
