There won''t be any diamonds in the Socialist hell Obama plans on creating the moment he is elected. We''ll have to all turn them in to be redistributed!

Aw man, the real socialists are trying to ruin it for everyone else...

Socialists: Obama no socialist

By Rex W. Huppke | Tribune staff reporter
October 20, 2008

These are hard times to be a socialist in America. And not just because there''s a bourgeois-bloated Starbucks on every other corner, thumbing its capitalist nose at the proletariat.

No, it''s tough these days because you''ve got politicians on the right, the same guys who just helped nationalize the banking system, derisively and inaccurately calling the presidential candidate on the left a socialist. That''s enough to make Karl Marx harumph in his grave.

Local communists, rarely tapped as campaign pundits, say Sen. Barack Obama and his policies stand far afield from any form of socialism they know.

hehe me too!

My co-worker has a second job, and she was telling me a crazy story about someone who worked with her.
Apparently this woman wants a new car (apparently she doesn''t *need* a new car, she just wants one). She went to a car dealership and they denied her because of her credit. So then she went to one of those "bad credit" places to see if they would finance her and they denied her too. When she got back to the office she was huffing and puffing about it, but she said she didn''t care because once Obama is president all of her bad credit will be forgiven.

Some folks are definitely going to be disappointed.

I''m not concerned with my wealth being redistributed. All of mine disappeared under the Republican''s watch.

Spreading the wealth? US already does it
McCain decries Obama''s plan to spread the wealth, but US already does it under tax formula
By CHARLES BABINGTON Associated Press Writer | AP
Oct 21, 2008

(WASHINGTON) John McCain is pouncing on Barack Obama''s call for shifting more wealth from richer Americans to poorer ones, likening it to socialism. His remarks win applause at campaign events. But they ignore the nation''s long tradition of redistributing huge amounts of wealth through tax-and-spending policies.

Placing a heavier burden on the wealthy has been a cornerstone of the federal income tax since its inception in 1913. Under its "progressive" formula, in which the wealthy pay higher tax rates, the richest 5 percent of Americans now pay well over half of all federal income taxes.

Forty percent of Americans pay no federal income tax at all, although it is the government''s largest revenue source. Meanwhile, they benefit from various social programs aimed at low-income households, another feature of a system that redistributes money.

They might not want to (although I would argue that most DO want to but can't find suitable jobs), but they have to. There really is no welfare system anymore in the traditional sense of the phrase.

And also, contrary to popular belief, the majority of welfare recipients are white Americans. Totally white. I have the stats to prove it. But you won''t see that on the news.

OH! They're white???? Well tax away then!!!!!

sad, isn''t it?!

movie zombie

Nope, we don''t care about little white babies, either!!! Man, you''ve got us figured out.

Except you don''t. I''ll state it again: Republicans give to the poor (more them Dems, actually). They don''t like the government deciding for them how to give. And the beauty of it is, if Obama is president we will still give.
