I did a search and didn''t find much on these - has anyone used one? They are supposed to be safe on pave because they use ionic versus sonic vibrations? Not sure what that means, but I gather it means it doesn''t jostle the jewellery around (making it safe for pave?).

Anyways - thought I''d check with you guys to see if anyone had info! Thanks!!

I have one. It’s useless. If your pave is set properly it’ll do just fine in an ultrasonic or with a steamer (which is better by the way) and if it’s not set properly, the tank of the ultrasonic is arguably the very best possible place for a stone to come out. At least you know right where to look for it.

Thank you both for the replies - good to know it isn''t worth it!!

I''ve also heard of people suspending a pave ring in an ultrasonic (using a paperclip or something) so the vibrations on the bottom aren''t as rough on the ring - do you think that would work?
