specs on diamonds

can someone help me on the specs on what the diamond should be. i know about the 4c''s but i need to know on the ranges of the depth, table, girdle etc. someone told me that the depth should be below 63% and the table below 56%. i dont know about the girdle and stuff but could someone please correct me if i need to worry so much about these.
