Does anyone know whether or not Good Old Gold can fulfill special diamond request orders or does anyone have any experience in attempting to do so through Good Old Gold?

Thanks,
Kenneth

sure they can... within reason...
They aren't going too sell a stone with a severe durability risk for example and cant come up with the impossible like a white ideal cut eyeclean round 1ct for 1k.....
They have thousands of stones too choose from and in some cases can have one cut if they cant find one.
If they don't have it in stock they will call in up too 2 stones on there dime for serious customers.
Almost all asscher sales are call ins any where you go and GOG is one of the top asscher sellers in the US so they are doing a lot of special calling in.
I bought my wifey2b's diamond from GOG and would again in a heartbeat.

Strmrdr,
I recently spoke with GOG and they were extremely willing to assist me in my more than highly specific diamond search. In any event and through my experiences with service & knowledge these past two months, I will certainly choose a diamond from GOG. I will post the results of my diamond search within the next day or two when I hear from Marie.

Thanks,
Kenneth

Hi Kenneth -

My experience with GOG has been similar to the other responders to your inquiry. Jonathan was *extremely* helpful in working with me to find a diamond that was *perfect* for me. One thing that sets GOG a part is the fact that most of the stones that they have listed on their site have been hand selected and are in-house (as opposed to sites that list thousands of stones but simply broker them out from elsewhere). That said, should there be something specific that you are looking for they have access to most of the same stones that the large brokers do. In my case, Jonathan provided me with a comprehensive list of everything that was available ''out there'' within my search perameters, had me choose five that I was interested in, and then called to ask for specific information about each stone that enabled him to recommend 2 or 3 that he considered most promising. From there you can decide what you might like to look at or have investigated further. I was delighted to discover that not only does GOG have access to a wide range of stones, but additionally you have the benefit of Jonathan''s expertise and GOG''s excellent customer service to help you find something that''s *just right*. Good luck!
