Good day,

First I want to thank those who helped me find a diamond last time around.

Next I would like to ask for a little more help on a new diamond. I am looking for a great cut diamond in the .75 area and have been offered the diamond described below.

Just a double check from the pros.

Specs from the AGS report as follows:

Weight: .797 cts
AGS Cert (Is this OK, can I trust the sarin type data)

Color: E
Clarity: VS2

Now the Cut...
Depth % 60
Table % 57
Crown Angle 34.3
Crown Percent 14.8
Pavilion Angle 40.7
Pavilion Percent 42.6
6.06 x 6.00 x 3.62
Ideal/Ideal

Also it says that in the comments "clouds and surface grain lines are not shown" ..what does this mean?

Price about $3600 ...Great price, OK price or too high?

Thanks again,
David

This diamond is nearly out of round, but I think still OK...
The proportions are very nice.
To give you a price, you should tell us if the diamond is fluorescent or not, the kind of girdle and culet.

It is hard to read the cert..it is scanned but the culet is pointed and the girdle is faceted 1.096 - 1.856 (this is the blurry part).

Fluorescence : negligible

David

OK, I would pay around $3.300.

Stephan,

Thanks for the reply but what do you mean "out of round"?

Thanks,
David

6.00x6.06x3.62

I mean the difference between 6.00 and 6.06; it's around 1% and that is the limit !

What are the consequences of "out of round"?

David

Out of round would be out of ideal.
Even if it's hard to C.
But your diamond should be OK, I just said "nearly" out of round...
