sourcing small antique pear

I have a small (but lovely) pear-shaped emerald and was thinking of a 'toi et moi' ring with a matching diamond

It is 0.43 cts and dimensions roughly 6mm-4mm (so diamond would preferably be similar to this - which i think makes it anywhere between 0.3-0.4 carat depending on the shape of the pear)

Alternatives are - modern or 'antique' pear shaped diamond.

Does anyone have any suggestions/links on where to start ? i think an old cut pear would be gorgeous but no idea where to find a small one/evaluate

You might reach out to JewelsbyGrace, LoveAffairDIamonds and IvyRoseVintage aka MyDiamondZone to see if they have any pears in this size. They are tiny and often might be set aside as a 'side stone'.

I love this two-stone with atwo pears that are very different in size and with a round (below).

Thanks- I saw an antique pear via ivy & rose (M and quite included) but I'll see if they get back to me.

Pears show their colour so much dont they?

I found this "ideal reference for pears" guide which ....confusingly.....grades pears as class 1 class 2 even if symmetry and polish are good- very good.

Something like this as option too - with a round cut accompanying (fyi picture from etsy store Gold Adore)

Pretty good choice from JA. I like the high color with your emerald. RE: included stone, the only thing to keep in mind is that in this small size, you really want lots of sparkle. So, consider that when looking at highly included stone.
