SOS - 2ct Studs vs 2ct Ring?

Hi, I’m new to PS and desperately need your opinions on what to do with these rocks!
ERING D 1.35 VS1 IDEAL set in tiff 6prong (worn with a channel eternity band)
LOOSE D 1.10 VS2 H&A stone
Options:
a) F 2.5ct SI2 IDEAL
+ tiff 6prong setting
Pros – new BIG bling
- no need for new band
Cons – 2 erings with same setting
- I really want 3ct +
- Slightly over budget even with low clarity & size
- SI2 or I1 ??? would a Ziamond be a better bet?
- Still need a stud upgrade for my 1tcw

b) Simon G micro pave setting for ERING stone
+ matching Simon G micro pave band
+ match LOOSE stone for 2.2tcw studs
Pros – spiced up ERING bling
- upgraded 1tcw studs
Cons – need to purchase new band
- still small ERING stone
- no one seems to be able to find the model I want in the SIMON G catalogue so will take some effort
c)Match ering stone for 2.7tcw studs
+ Simon G micro pave setting for 1.10
+ matching Simon G micro pave band
Pros – new ring bling
- new studs bling
Cons - wait a long long time for higher clarity 2.5ct+ upgrade
d) buy nothing and just drool over all the new PSer bling posts
Pro – wait for a diamond crash
- wait out economic depression
- save $$$ and no guilt

I''m torn between something NEW or something BIG...pls HELP

I''m sorry but I fear your poll is a bit confusing and lengthy, hence you may not get many answers..
I''m confused by it, there''s waaayy too much in here - Tiff''s, Simon G, bands, erings, studs...!

If you narrow down what it is you''re after, than post more concise questions with shorter options (and preferably photos
or links), you may get better advice.

My suggestions:

1) Get one more diamond and have a three stone ring! There''s your total of 3 cts plus lots of bling and coverage. My sister has a small three stone with a tiny diamond band and it''s still some serious sparkle.

2) Find matching 1.35 diamond and have 2.7 studs-they''d be something you''d always treasure and really great size, use smaller 1.10 diamond for bezel necklace.

3) Sell both diamonds and put your money toward the 3 carat you want, or find a place that would let you use those two diamonds as trade ins.

I think if you really want 3ct+ that you should save the money and wait. If you absolutely cannot wait and have to have something now, I'd vote for option B, of course I'm saying that not knowing what the Simon G looks like.

I do want to say however that 1.35ct is NOT a small e-ring.

Sorry for confusing everyone and messing up the poll. You''re absolutely right, I need to narrow down my options first.
I''m trying to stay on budget. I don''t want to compromise on cut, and I love the stark crispness of D color, but I think I could do F/G.

My real question is: Would you buy an I1 purely for 3ct+ size? Or would you rather Bling up what you have and wait to have 3ct with better clarity at 2-3x the price of I1?

If this still doesn''t make any sense...I''ll just go back to drooling and oogling all your PS Blings

I would not sacrafice quality for size. I would bling up what I have.
