Nope, we will not be complicit in relieving your temptation. :geek2: Maybe she's "the one" for you!

I really think the seller should have requested origin from the GIA, because that stone is almost certainly Burmese. And a 12ct Burmese stone is quite something these days!

So the price is great, IMO. Now, for me personally, she's too pink and included. I'd rather have a finer quality stone that is 1/4 the size. But I do think she's a rarity and quite lovely at that!

I agree with it being a little too pink for my taste but if someone were to force it upon me, well, I’d for sure wear it. LOL. On a buying ban for a while as we have house renovations and such to do but that one caught my eye!

Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't exactly kick her to the curb!!

More pink sapphire than ruby but I sure as heck would not say no!!!

She’s beautiful and bold and BIG!!!!!

I’d say included or not it would be hard to find an unheated stone of that size these days. Once you take away all the theoretical aspects of a stone, she is glorious and will turn heads.

This one which sold for $30000CHF (no idea what that is in USD) is waaaaay less pleasing to the eye

That’s about $36K in USD. Comparable in pricing but agreed, it’s much less pleasing to the eye.

I love this seller’s listings. This is my experience trying to buy a blue Burma sapphire in the cobalt color I love from her.

I found a pair of glorious earrings on her eBay site, with one GIA origin cert saying Burma and the Milk of Magnesia bottle color I dream of. I asked if the color was as pictured, more pictures in natural light, etc. I was willing to buy them, made a 10% below list offer contingent on getting the second sapphire a matching origin report. She agreed, I paid, and a big fat nothing burger ensued. Finally got refunded, but never heard anything back from the seller.

I would make sure there is a return policy. Ask a lot of questions about the inclusions.

How disappointing... I'm sorry. :confused2: The earrings are lovely!

Oh no. I’m sorry that happened to you. I bought my sapphire ring (avatar image) from her and she was very gracious; sent extra pics, videos inside and outside and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I’m so sorry you had a bad experience but glad you got a refund! I will say I do not like the added ‘sparkles’ in her videos on her listings. I wish she wouldn’t do that.

I’ve purchased from her before and very satisfied. Would love thoughts on this honker!

I think it is reflector-backed -- why else would the depth be unmeasurable with calipers by GIA? And, in the photos, the peek-a-boo view of the back looks like it is reflecting down.

I am not convinced it is old, although the box is. The ring has a modern vibe. The multi-layer tiny pave reads new to me and poorly suited to a showstopper center colored stone. There is not a single nick on that "old" ruby. And unless this is some rare vivid-orange gold alloy, the saturation in certain color channels has been bumped up to 11.

Yeah, she's definitely cupped, and you can see that it doesn't extend very far into the undergallery. So I think it's fair to assume she's quite shallow. I'm not great at dating pieces, but I'm also inclined to think she's fairly modern, and just simply preowned. That's enough for some sellers to call a piece "vintage" or "estate."

One thing I will say for her though, she certainly does make a statement!
