I think Fiji pearls are absolutely beautiful but they seem so difficult to find, I’m guessing because the size of the harvest is small. While browsing PP last night I noticed that they have a few pieces in stock in the VIP section, I’d be all over this necklace if I were in the market (bit too soon after Christmas and too far away from my birthday!),

Yes, it doesn’t seem that expensive compared to other Fiji pieces I’ve seen.

Bargain find for someone in the market for smaller, blue baroque Akoyas. The seller has them listed as freshwater but I am sure they are Akoya. This has been listed for a week and not one bid. The pearls are probably dyed or irradiated but it is a pretty necklace with a small gold/diamond clasp. Bidding starts at $49.

These were taken to a Jeweler, he said they are real Freshwater Pearls. They're at least 5 mm in size to be on the safe side, possibly 6 mm. I will notate anything big.
