I think when you're talking about reshanking + preserving marks, it's simply not going to be anything other than expensive. If the ring needs that level of work, I would personally pass, unless I loved it enough to genuinely not care about the cost.

I am definitely looking for a more reasonably priced bench, maybe that means shipping as opposed to local.

My point was that antique metals often are not the same color as modern metals and so it’s something you would need to address if matching color is importabt to you.

@anon34985, are you talking about my old mine cut trinity? The middle is a little over 1 ct and the sides around 0.8 each. I'm a size 5.5 - 5.75 btw

Oh, you have tiny hands. You can go down to 2 ct total for still a great impact imo.
