Nice find! I have been looking for one that is blue sapphire, but not too dark. Size 6.75 ideally. Someone already grabbed it!

So many of the bands out there, even new ones, for sapphires are just really dark.

I'll admit, I caved

@lala646 thanks for the heads up!! These bands in the exact size are so hard to find. My original plan was to look for an emerald one after I got my first sapphire band but that seems almost impossible. Ending up with two sapphire bands is not too bad ... right?

I think it's easy to find ones with very dark stones. There's lots of newly made ones where the stones are almost black.

Same girl, same...

I was hemming and hawing about a beautiful size 8.75 I found last year that was $1950. I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger, mostly because I was bitter over the "plus size penalty" (that's how I think of the often higher prices for larger sized rings). It sold before I could convince myself.

Definitely! The one I have is royal blue (very pretty esp. under the sun) and never looks black. This one appears to be one shade lighter based on the pics? I'm very curious too!
