Thanks again for all your lovely comments guys! I really am thrilled with the ring (box or no box, hee hee
), and can''t stop looking at it. It''s pretty in my office - but wow! when I step into an elevator, or was walking (hopping!) around Wholefoods last night - it''s just going ker-azee!! Such sparkles and fire, I love it!
I''ve brought my DF''s better camera into work, so will try and take some better pics later - have snuck on here for 15 minutes now though, and now better crack on with some work (busy bee, good old NY work ethic, sigh!
Congrats on your engagement, and GORGEOUS ring!! It''s stunning!!! Thank you for providing such nice pictures of your ring, I''m looking forward to more. Your ring is exactly my fiance''s ideal ring, I am waffling between this and a plain platinum setting. Your pics just gave him more ammo to convince me to switch over. It is so lovely!
Looks amazing! Congrats and enjoy it. It''s gorgeous for sure! Love Leon''s work...although sorry to hear that your experience re: service wasn''t top notch.
Right guys, finally have some more pics! By the time I got home there was no natural light left, so here are some pics I took in my office earlier, and a couple from home now. I''m finally able to resize now that I''m back on my lovely user-friendly Mac, ha!
Hope I don''t overdo it and overwhelm you with pics!
I lived in London before New York. Here''s my ring hanging out on a wooden bus going to the wooden London Eye, on the Muji London toy set a colleague in London gave me when I was leaving!
So I mentioned yesterday that I think the prongs are SLIGHTLY off - not 100% symmetrical. You can see what I mean here, if you look. The bottom right hand prong is slightly lower than the bottom left one, and I think the top left one is slightly higher than the top right one.
Do you see what I mean?? Am I imagining it?! Well, I don''t think I''m imagining it, but really what I mean is, is this to be expected in a custom piece, and should I let go of my perfectionist ways, and actually this is just fine?! It''s only very slight... but I still noticed (imagined?!?!) it...
Here you can see the pave, and also the side profile of the head. I know someone (I''m sorry, I forget who!) was asking about the "V"s on the side of the ring. You can kind of see them here. This is Leon''s V-cut pave... he does many different styles.
That ring is gorgeous!! Even if the prongs are slightly crooked, it is still a beautiful, beautiful ring. Although I love the priceless Elmo Nose ring photo, it''s even more stunning on your hand. Nice hands by the way.
p.s. I do admit that my perfectionism would go bonkers if the prongs were in fact crooked.
