I lived in a town of 200 through my high school years (which had 100 students total). Our current town is HUGE compared to that. We have 2600 people. DH has never lived more than 30 miles from where he was born ( a town of 7000)

Nope, but funny enough, FI is! He works closeby. Anyway, it''s near the Olympic Park, I can get there by public transport easy enough.

I am in Albuquerque. I have been to Silver City and it takes 4 hours so I am guessing that way is maybe 5 hrs?? Are you going to Cloudcroft?

How exciting!!! Have you been there? Do you fly from Houston to El Paso and then drive or drive the whole thing? Keep me posted.

We now live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC, and I work in the District.

My husband and I just sold our business and retired. We want to live in So Cal all year, but our kids don't want to leave their school.

Nancy, I grew up in your very chocolate-scented neighboring town, just outside of Harrisburg!

Living a couple hours away in Philly now though... and hoping to settle somewhere in between, when we get tired of the city life... maybe West Chester area someday? I attended undergrad in Virginia, and lived in London for a semester, but other than that I've been a Pennsylvania girl all my life.
