I found a cute little rose cut pear set into a bezel on Ebay. Its attached to the rest of its Victorian era earring, and welded into a pendant because the previous owner lost the mate.

I was going to set the rose cut into an antique ring that has a cracked center stone, but this stone is just too small. I have a diamond pendant I wear a lot already...

So, what would you do with a tiny rose cut pear?

I think it depends on what the earring looks like now ... if it''s appealing, I''d keep it as-is for the history and wear it on fancy occasions or alongside the existing pendant for a layered look. If not ... colored stone pendant with the rose-cut diamond as an accent?
