and if you all liked this one see FLAME AND CITRON if it gets a release in the theatre and/or DVD. i saw it in toronto this past september: danish film re the danish resistance to not only the nazi invasion but to the danes that collaborated with the nazis.

Anyone else see The Black Book? It''s a World War II film about a young Jewish woman in the Netherlands who becomes a spy for the resistance, when tragedy befalls her after an encounter with the Nazis.

Why are so many good European movies about war?
