Hey Everyone!
I'm a newbie with a question. Hope you can help.
I came across a diamond (1carat) that was given a report (given by local gemologist using AGS scale) of Good and Good for its Polish and Symmetry.
The proportions (table, crown, and pavillion angles and degrees) on paper indicate that it has an Ideal Cut.
It's just the Polish and Symmetry is what prevents it from being an AGS000.
According to the report/person, the diamond is rated AGS2 (Cut) only because of this.
Should I be concerned with this?
Also what if the Pol/Sym were Fair? Should I be even more concerned?
Thanks!!
