It's been a couple of months since I've been on here and I've had a lot of fun reading what everyone's been up to. Congratulations to all of you who've been taken "off the list"!!

My bf and I have been doing a lot of research and we've made tons of progress...the stone has been purchased, the jeweler is making the ring, and we're headed to my parents' house this weekend so he can have "the talk" with them.... I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T STAND IT!!!!!!!!

OMG.....firstly, I''m super excited for you!!!!!!!!!! I can''t wait to see the final ring.

I saw that you said you are going to have the ''talk'' with your parents. Are you both gonna talk to them? We are having abit of a dilemma bout this at the moment. I suppose the more traditional thing to do is for the man to ask the dad for the daughters hand but I think my mom would want to be involved and also, I was thinking I would love to share the moment also.
