Snowflake Pence Leaves Colts Game

It looks like it was a publicity stunt, too. His press pool was told to stay in the van because the VP "may leave early." And then, of course, Donald outed them by trying to take credit. Someone should be calculating how much this stunt cost shortly, and no doubt the fiscally conservative will be outraged.

They are so bad at this. At everything.

He doesn't even understand what the protest is about.

I think he does. He just doesn't care (see: several posts on this very forum!), and he knows he can spin it to win with their ever dwindling fan base.

If he just needed a football game/national anthem to walk out on, couldn't he find one closer to Arizona or California?

So... let me make sure I understand this... Pence, knowing full well all about the keeling protests, went to a game and then left because some players knelt in protest. What a self-serving completely contrived publicity stunt. I don't believe either he or Chump have one genuine cell in their beings and anyone taken in by this farce is nothing short of a complete and utter moron.

T-c, Pence is from Indiana (Columbus, to be exact) and was supposedly attending this for Peyton Manning's ring of honor ceremony. hahaha, what a ruse.

Yeah, you're probably spot on.

There was a time in my life shortly after college graduation that I lived on the north side of Indianapolis and used to do my laundry on Sundays at a facility next to a popular neighborhood bar. I'd watch football and drink beer while my laundry was laundering, and I was blissfully unaware of times to come, although 9/11 was looming and Dubya was our biggest embarrassment. Makes me wistful.

Dumb as he was, at least Dubya wasn't a vulture.

You nailed it, Dee*Jay. A publicity stunt. Trump just had to get the controversy going again. Is Mueller getting too close? Too much talk about The Steele Dossier?

Yep. At a game against SF whose players have been pretty consistently kneeling. With their hands over their hearts, but that doesn't matter. The kneeling, the hands over the hearts, doing it before or during or after the anthem, in front of the flag or in the locker room, none of it actually matters. It's the protesting that is pissing people off, and no amount of feigned "but this is how I feeeeeel" changes that reality. I'd put good money on Pence knowing this, but he falls in line because Trump is loving every second of this and Pence loves the taste of his boots. He's also biding his time until he gets to play President.

White supremacists marched on Charlottesville again last night with torches chanting "Russia is our friend, the South shall rise again!" but the kneeling is what our leaders choose to condemn today.

How 'bout that.

This is probably what Trump is trying to distract us from.

THIS. He is stupid, self-serving, and a piece of trash.

As my grandfather used to say "they could **** up a wet dream!"

:angryfire: This little stunt cost the tax payers close to $250,000.
I thought Trump wanted to make good deals for this country? Goodness, does he think the US is just another business he can tank and walk away from?

It sure appears that way!

Now Ivana and Melania are wrestling in the mud over who the First Lady is. I get the feeling Trump pits his wives/exwives against each other like he likes to do with his employees. Melania is as stupid as her husband. No taking the high road for this family. Ivana and Melania can costar in their own Housewives reality show.

Sorry for going off topic @monarch64
