Any feedback on the diamond? I''d like to get the diamond from since1910.com as I can get no interest financing. But, I''m really clueless in regards to diamonds, even after reading some articles online. I really could use some help.

Thank you kindly!

I entered the depth and table percentages into the cut advisor. The cut advisor said that it was too deep. Is this a round?

This is the link for the cut advisor. https://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp

You only need to input the depth and the table percentages.

The rule of thumb here on PS, is that if it scores above a 2.0 than it probably isn''t looking into. But if it scores below a 2.0, request idealscope and aset images.

What is your budget? and what are you seeking?

It's a princess cut diamond.

My budget for the diamond is up to around $5500.

The setting has G colored stones in it, so I'd really like a G or better diamond so it doesn't look weird or very different.

The cut adviser is not applicable to a princess cut.

Not way to judge the cut performance of a fancy cut, which the princess cut is, from numbers. And GIA does not grade the cut performance of a princess cut. The only lab that those that is AGS, so safe bet is to buy a princess cut that is cut graded AGS0 (or AGS1 due to downgrade for polish or symm) if you are unable to get an ASET image from the vendor. As far as I know, 1910 cannot get you an ASET image of the stone but you can ask.

You could order your own ASET scope if you have time and learn how to use it in order to find out more about the cut quality of this stone, also make sure the very thin part of the girdle isn''t a potential durability issue by getting it checked by an expert.
