Wedding Slideshow Music Opinions Please!

Hey girls!

My photographer asked us to pick a song for our online slideshow and I was hoping to get your opinions.

That Coldplay song has always bugged me, and while I love the Over the Rianbow song, it''s a bit overused. I like either the Foo Fighters song or the Landon Pigg song, with the Foo Fighters perhaps having a leg up because it is a bit more upbeat.

Haha - I totally agree with this whole statement! However, I actually prefer the Landon Pigg song. I hear what marchswallowbird is saying about Foo Fighers being more upbeat, but I prefer the lyrics of the Landon Pigg song and I think its slow pace is kinda romantic. Just my .02 though. By the way, I''ve always loved Sade and By Your Side is one of my all time favourites

Looks like we have similar music tastes..Fix You is one of my favorite Coldplay songs.

it..but I don''t know if it''s appropriate for the wedding slideshow. I vote for the Landon Pigg song as well.

I love the Landon Pigg song...
I actually do like the Coldplay song...but I think Landon Pigg song out of those is the best one for a slideshow

If it''s in your budget, you might wanna consider having it done professionally. Typically, if your photographer does it for you (especially an online slideshow), it''ll be pretty basic...that''s not their specialty, after all. Check out these guys...they seem to have the best special effects, and the videos have a pretty classy look:

I''m debating doing a slideshow disc with our wedding pix, and if so, will be using Michael Buble''s "Feelin'' Good" (we also used it for the garter toss at our wedding--I''m in love with that guy''s voice!

as for the links you posted, i think i''m in agreement with everyone else...but i haven''t fully decided yet. to be completely honest, i liked the landon pigg song a LOT more when i wasn''t looking at the screen because the guy''s haircut just bugged me! i''m sure you found that last bit incredibly helpful!

I think that is the same reason DH wasn''t sold on it. It is true about his hair! haha
