Slammie''s Setting

Does anybody have any HI-RES shots of "Slammie''s" setting? I am in the process of having it emulated and it would be good to have HI-RES shots of both the engagement ring and the wedding band.

is this the setting you are talking about it? Its gorgeous! Link looks like a fishtail pave with milgrain on the gallery work and double prongs

Yes, exactly. I have images that were posted on the forums but the problem is that when I zoom in on the particulars...it gets very grainy.

Love it. What particulars were you looking for? The details seem clear in that photo.

unfortunately I think the only person that has the HI-res, would be the original owners that took the shot

is what I assume, otherwise, you might be lucky and see if the jeweler might have this ring or pictures of it since it was commissioned with them (though I'm not sure if they would be willing to give it out.... maybe worth a try?)

Mainly the details inside the gallery and the details in between and around each 2 pointer around the circumfrence. I am trying to compare these images to the CAD renderings but the granularity of the web photo''s isn''t good enough.

do you have the CAD pictures? the diamonds share common prongs if that''s any help.

Yes, they are bead set/common prong and there is milgrain.

I have the CAD renderings but the renderings are going to be used to create the bulk, with the details excluded (to be done later by jewelers). For reference, the attached image is what the finished ring would look like along the circumference.

When you say milgrain, are you referring to the milgrain around the circumference of the gallery? That I notice. Or do you mean milgrain at some point around the 2 pointers?

yes on the gallery. Not on the shank
