Hi everyone,
I'm currently having an issue with my new u-prong eternity band. Basically, I ordered the same size as a ring that I wear daily, but when it arrived, it was so loose that it would barely stay on my finger (despite showing up as the same size as my original ring on the mandrel). My guess is that this is due to the spaces between the U shapes, though I didn't realize this would happen.
D&T, if you happen to see this post - I saw that you had the same issue a long time ago with your cup-shape eternity band. I just wanted to ask, when you sent it back, did they find that it was the same size as you had ordered, or was it actually larger?
Others - is this a known issue with u-prong rings? I.e. should the vendor have been able to predict this? I've been asked to pay to remake the ring, or pay to put an insert in (which isn't ideal because at the moment, it's so large that I can't even close my fingers around it).
