Sizing e-ring with wedding band: would you go bigger?

I've never worn my current e-ring and wedding band together on the same hand because they just don't look right together at all (the styles I chose clashed). For my new set, I'm wondering about the sizing. According to jewelers, I'm a size 5, but the wedding band that I've worn all these years is a 4mm 5.5. I've never had trouble with it getting super loose and falling off. I'm wondering if getting both my new e-ring and band in size 5s will feel too tight worn together, especially in the summer. I live in northern FL, and if I'm walking outside in the summer it's typically in the nineties or higher and humid. It's usually warm to hot here 8-9 months of the year.

I've been trying out my original e-ring (without my wedding band) around the house, and it fits perfectly. It's a 2mm ring in size 5. It's not spinning, not too tight, and it's around 78 degrees or so in my home (I like it warm :) ; I'm aways battling hubby on that). If you were me, would you get both of the new rings as size 5.25? The total width of the new rings worn side by side will be 4mm. Or would you just do one of the rings a little bigger (maybe the e-ring?)?

Have any of you sized your rings a little larger than your "true" size for wearing both the e-ring and wedding band together?

Typically wider bands require that you go up 1/2 or size or so, but rings with thin shanks like a 2mm shouldn't be an issue. If you don't plan on stacking any other rings with your wedding set and your size 5 ering gave you enough room for the warmer months than I would stay with a 5. If your still concerned you could go with a 5 1/8 or 5 1/4, it doesn't sound to me like you need to go up a half a size with these widths. What did your jeweler recommend?

I like my rings a little loose and am getting them maybe 1/4 size larger. Since you aren't in the hottest weather yet, I'd want to be sure they are comfortable then and not tight.

If the shanks are plain, it really won't matter if they have to be sized later. But if they have diamonds on the shank, I'd rather have them a little large and even use sizing beads in the outermost ring if needed rather than to have to size the rings should you ever need to increase the size.

I live in Atlanta where it is hot and humid most of the year.

My 2 mm e-ring was a size 4.5, which I sized up to 5 after my 2 mm wedding band was ordered, size 5. I thought that I should size up for a more comfortable it when worn together. Not so! They both spin and I am having them sized down to 4.5.

Yes, I'm worried about the possible spinning! I'm thinking I might go ahead and get 5 1/4 for both, so just a little bigger. Neither of them are eternity, so I guess it's not a big deal if I need to size them down a 1/4 if I find they're too big. Eventually I'd like to get an eternity wedding band, but it's not in the budget for this anniversary.
