What definition of ''ideal'' are you using, and what are the makes you''re considering within that definition? ''Ideal cut'' has many definitions, encompassing a range of looks that can be more visible than a color grade or two. For that matter I''m presuming these color grades were assigned by GIA/AGS, but probably good to verify that?

Thanks for all your advice guys.
The diamonds are GIA certified
The first one is I 6.67mm across, ideal cut
The other one is H 6.52mm, ideal cut
They are both round brilliant SI2 but eye clean
What do you think??
I''m color sensitive. . .if the diamonds are similar in weight, I''d go with the higher color. Personally, unless the diamond was for a pendant or earrings, I''d want an H or better. I''ve picked smaller stones for higher color.Date: 5/10/2010 11:41:22 AM

You will not be able to see that diameter difference in real life. Go for the higher color.
