Size difference?

Would you notice a size difference between a 1.7 ct diamond measuring 7.64 and a 1.91 ct diamond measuring 7.93?
 
Next to each other you would. But in a setting, by itself, the visual affect would be very close.
 
If the 1.70 is a great cut and the 1.91 is a dog, the 1.70 will probably look bigger.

Just to confuse you even more.

Good point Paul. I should have said, "assuming both are ideal cut".

As usual, Ellen is right on the money (assuming both are top-make stones).

I agree with Ellen as well. You would be able to *tell* the difference (especially unset), but it''s not a very large difference at all.
