Halos AND split shank halos. More so the latter

hmm, ok, ill look around. But as TC mentioned, being a nice small finger, the shank wont be as obvious. And with a budget of 5k, sometimes its a matter of compromise. What elements of a setting are most impactful.

I'd go for a Plain halo no split shank - the reason the split shank with diamonds in it will cost more - I still think you should be putting anything extra towards a larger centre diamond with a halo.

The bezelled halo is a great idea for size, but keep in mind not everyone likes that look, a non bezelled halo is generally more modern looking.

That makes sense in terms of budget but how much more would it be for a split shank? $500?
