Hi everyone,
I am looking to get my now GF a ring like Dec/Jan
In my looking around I found a setting and stone she really liked.
The store that sells it I never heard of and it has no online reviews. They have a physical office in the diamond district in NYC.
Is that a big red flag they don’t have any online reviews? Has anyone in here heard of it or used it?

HI. You need a lot more information before buying from an online vendor, especially one that is not well known. I would ask for certificate and ASET images. As well as photos and videos in different lighting conditions. Then post everything you have on it here and the experts will let you know if it's good or not. There are a lot of shady people out there. Be careful. All diamonds look good under jewelry store lighting. That's why you need as much information as possible.

I'd say it's more than a red flag that you don't get to choose or even have any information beyond the color and clarity of the particular stone you are getting.
