I posted about a month ago regarding resetting my diamond from my Tacori ring into a Simon G set NR468. I picked up my new set, and am completely blown away by the result. I cannot stop staring at this stunner.

I loved my twist shank from my Tacori, so adding a cushion halo to that style just sealed the deal. I had a Simon G micropave band that kept losing stones. That is what started this whole reset journey. I am so glad I worked with an amazing local jeweler to find my diamond its forever home.
Center Diamond stats: GIA 1.12, F, Si1, Excellent. I included my before set followed by the new set. D19C4448-9868-490D-B221-2BDF2AA2ADCC.jpeg 86B04C87-550C-4769-8DC3-B7A1C2DD1E72.jpeg 6BD266B0-BE43-4E8D-BC3C-E0DEA6CB0C0E.jpeg 64567033-1605-4136-932D-714F359F135F.jpeg

The ring looks elegant and the whole design is well put together.

Beautiful! I like both settings! The halo does up the bling factor!

Oh wow! The new set is gorgeous! The Tacori set was beautiful too but you can see the difference in how delicate and well-made the Simon G is. It's not easy to do dainty right!

Thank you so much!
I was afraid of “cheating” on my Tacori with this one, but I have zero regrets. My diamond looks massive in this new set so that’s a bonus ♥️

Update! I had my diamond set lower into the halo and soldered my band to my ering so it doesn’t rub the metal away and lose stones. Love this look much better.

I like the stone lower too. It is just amazing how much of a difference a small halo can make. It all looks great and I hope you wear it happily for many years to come!
