SIMON G TR128 HELP NEEDED ASAP

Hello everyone, so i have been speaking to 2 jewelers about a set my husband picked for me regarding prices and all, we picked a Simon G TR128 setting from Robbins Brothers and Kranichs also has the rings, but i would love to know if anyone here has gotten anything similar to this.

still dunno what shape a center stone get,im torn in between a cushion and a round stone, please add your ring suggestions or the shape you like the most

I dont have a ring like that, but I think its beautiful.
I place my vote with a cushion stone instead of RB, i think it would fit the setting perfectly and they are such a classic beautiful cut!

I agree a cushion might suit the setting a bit more but a round would stil look lovely IMO

Yes am definitely getting the cushion, my husband is in the Army and leaving for deployment soon, so he wants to upgrade my rings to renew our vows when he leaves c us the Channel set i have from RB was purchased for his ex and since then he didnt have money to buy me rings i was forced to wear this, so now that he is leaving for 18months he wants to do whats right he says, he knows i dont wear his exes rings because she picked them and i just hate those rings altho i never say a word to not make him feel bad cus i mean he is already fighting for our country, who am i to say no to his efforts right!, so im trading the channel set he purchased from them with one of this stores, they are giving me full price for the set, is just the way we would get them is buy starting some credit or something, i have and extra ring that i will be trading it has a .25 center stone with like a .5 ct baguetes around that one, so it might give me a little more of a trade in i feel so bad for my man, i know that the reason of why he didnt buy them before is because of money issues, and now he wants to do this out of nowhere, in a way it makes me feel as if he wasnt coming back from deployment and thats why im hesitating, but yet he says is the right thing to do rightnow, he doesnt want me wearing the rings of the promise of his commitment that he''d ever had with someone else, and so thats what these rings are.

We''ve been married 6 years now to turn 7. i have a 0.42CT ctr stne on the channel set but the stone goes for $1500 alittle more cus of taxes but oh well this is it

Im so sorry for the big description, i just wished i could get a better alternative to make this rings a little more affordable cus he said, his ex''s rings and $2500 was the budget:S and so idk what to do, i would like a diamond, but a good size, i really dont care much about quality at all am a very comformist person i would be happy with it, but he wants to give me at least a 1CT, and i ont even think there are any fair grade or quality cushions at this price anywhere within that range
