Simon G Tennis Bracelet

Hi,

I just got a call from a Sales girl at Nordstrom that they have a Simon G 9 ctw tennis bracelet that was $14500 for $4800. The stones are H/I and SI1. Is this a good deal? What do you think of Simon G.

I''ve been learning so much about diamonds on this site I swore I would never buy retail again but this deal seems to good to be true.

Did she say what the 9 carats were? Is it possible it''s not all diamond? If you go online to Nordstrom.com, they only list 3 diamond tennis bracelets and the 4 carat bracelet set in 18K White Gold with G-H SI quality stones is $6995. If this is all diamond at 9 ctw, you should like fly there and jump all over it. Something seems a bit off though as it doesn''t seem possible for any quality retailer, let alone Nordstrom to sell a 9 ctw diamond bracelet for $4800.

Do tell us what you find if you go see this amazing item.

That does sound a little too good to be true, but if I were you I would be over at Nordstrom''s checking it out!!! I think Simon G makes beautiful pieces although I have never seen one of their tennis bracelets.

Hi, I went to look at it last night. Apparently it has been moving from store to store. They marked it down to $7000 and then yesterday marked it down to $4300. I went to buy it last night, since I figured I could return it if I changed my mined. It is 9ct and all the stones are diamonds and all are G-H SI1. Apparently everyone that works at Nordstrom wanted to buy it but the sales girl told them she had already called me and I was coming down.

I think I just got very very lucky.

All the stones are diamonds, G-H, SI1. I think I just got really lucky. I met the sales girl 2 weeks ago and she really liked me and my nephew. She said when she say the bracelet she thought of me and called me to see if I wanted her to hold it for me. I bought it last night. It is beautiful.

I went right after work and bought it. I got really lucky, it was on clearance after being sent around from store to store. I googled Simon G and saw other items at the store last night and do think they make nice things.

Ok, but I am so tech challenged. It will have to be this weekend when my nephew comes home from college. I''ll have to have him do it for me. But I will definitely send a picture.

Apparently every 6 months to a year Nordstroms selects one store to send all their jewlery to that has not sold at other stores. They call it a "fire sale" when the store is selcted they send every piece to that store and mark it down 40-70% depending on how long they have had the piece. The sales girls call their customers so that they can come in and get the first pick before they put the clearance items in the case. Apparently everything except my bracelet was purchsed by Nordstrom employees.

I think I was just really lucky to have been in the store a few weeks earlier and and met this sales girl.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have not posted a picture yet. My nephew brought his laptop and camera home this weekend (he just started college this year) but he didn''t bring the cable to connect the camera to the computer. He is coming back this weekend and promised me he won''t forget anything. I have got to get a digital camera and learn how to use it.
