Hey All,
I am new here, I have been looking through the forums for quite sometime to get ideas on what to buy the girl I love, and how to propose to her.
I have finally decided (or so I think) on what I am getting her. The band is a Simon G band, that I found at my local jeweler that I have known my whole life. I hope she thinks it is as beautiful as I do. I have changed a few things about it since they had to custom make one for her tiny (4 1/2) finger. I am making the entire ring white gold, instead of the yellow gold design in the pictures below. Also, the ring is made for a 1 ct center stone, but I wanted to get a little larger stone. I had my jeweler search for a few different loose stones to bring in. I found a 1.31 ct, SI2 clarity (no visible inclusions), VG cut, H color, Medium Blue fluorescence stone that I think may be the "one".
Anyways, without rambling on more, I just wanted to get some of your opinions on the band and center stone choice (especially you ladies out there). My stomach has been in knots for the past couple months, as this is the most important decision I have ever had to make.
Thanks,
Chris
P.S. I hope I can figure out how to post pics!
