Silly question

Is Dolly literally just using packing tape to lay out these stones, or is it something else? Like special jewelry tape? Lol. Sorry if this is goofy, or something I should know. I've been thinking about 3-stone combinations for a gypsy ring and want to shop my own closet, since I have a collection of loose stones, but don't know how to look at them together, and thought this might solve my problem.

I’m not sure, but I think it’s just normal tape. Probably that packing tape. I’ve taped loose stones on my ears before to see what they look like as earrings.

It's normal tape, she's just good at it! I tried doing this and the tape was covered in fingerprints and didn't look good at all lol

Just don't use rubber cement. Yes I did, and what an enduring mess.

Yes, I also think it's just regular tape. I do think she uses jewelry tweezers (I'm sure there is a special name for them lol) and not her fingers to place the stones on the tape lol. She also doesn't fold the tape over the stones on the back, just the front. She folds them below the stones only to use that part as a handle.
