I''ve been a lurker here for too long and finally decided to become a member. Could anyone give me a heads up on what all the acronyms mean? I get FMIL and MOH...but some (like DH) throw me for a loop. I''d like to be fluent in "Pricescope Speak" when I post. Thanks!

Acronyms can get confusing.
DH and HH refer to husbands.

Good question! Here are some threads that go into details:

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/pricesope-slang-defined.59134/

Some think DH is Dear Husband, Darling Husband or Damn Husband (

)!

Master them and you will still be lost reading the TTC thread

When I first started posting I had a horrible time with "FWIW". I swear, I thought it was "Future Widow in Waiting", and I had no idea why anyone would be hopeful about something like that!! I''m usually really good about picking up on context clues, but this is only used at the beginning of a sentance, so it looked like the OP was being referred to as a FWIW.

I finally cought on, and it means For What it''s Worth.

Ha! The longer posts are the worst for me. I have to reread paragraphs with all of these aconyms that refer to different family members and I can''t follow the story. I''ll practice.

Your signature mentions the 30 Day Shred, not to get off topic, but how do you like it? I just got it and I was SO sore the first week.

I can usually figure them out but the one that gave me the most trouble was PITA. I could NOT figure out what it stood for. Until one day it dawned on me. DUH. PITA= Pain in the A**.
