Signed Pieces Question

Hey everybody - does anyone know the difference between the regular comfort fit band and the Raphael series comfort fit bands available through signedpieces.com?

I am looking for a men''s platinum band - size 8 - and anywhere from 4-6 mm in width (haven''t decided yet). I noticed that there is a bit of a difference in price, but I don''t know why.

The site says the Raphael comfort fit is "more substantial" than the traditional band - what does this mean? Is it worth it to pay a bit more?

just a guess here but i interpret it to mean weight. can you compare the weight of each?

We recently bought our wedding bands from Signed Pieces -- a women''s 3mm Raphael and a men''s 6mm non-Raphael. So that''s my basis for comparison.

The Raphael seems slightly more substantial. It is barely noticeable, but if I hold the two rings side-by-side the Raphael seems "thicker" even though it is a much smaller size. (I''m talking about how high it sticks up off your finger, if that makes sense.)

Not sure if it is worth the extra $ but I have to say that I love both. I decided to get the Raphael to go with my Raphael diamond band.

I called and asked signedpieces and they said that both rings are the same weight - just that the raphael is more curved and smoother (i assume "smoother" in appearance - not that the other has a rough texture).

candy - does your fiance/husband think that his band is comfortable enough? Did he even consider a raphael band, and if so, why did he choose the other?

Sorry for the multiple questions...I would really appreciate any help!

I don''t think he even looked at the Raphael since he specifically wanted a flat stock band.

This was his first jewelry purchase and I was surprised by how much he loves the ring. He says it''s very comfortable, which I didn''t expect since he''s never worn a ring before.

Good idea ordering both and returning the one you don''t want. I''d be interested to hear your comparison.
