I sent you a PM a few minutes ago - and will reply here as well. I'm really enjoying how much you are enjoying your diamond! Since we don't usually get to see our customers' faces when they open the package this kind of thread brings us great joy.
If you can stop by our production offices in Houston before you have the diamond set I'll arrange for a pro set of H&A images of your "A Cut Above" by our photographer - and you can spend some time with Brian Gavin and the team. Let me know if you're interested.
You 2 make a great couple, and you have a very nice looking Dachshund. I grew up with 2 (named Snoodle & Rufus), and one of my best friends has a smaller version of your model (named Maynard).
Great shots, the diamond looks amazing. Congratulation on your finding, when you have the diamond set please give us some hand shots
. I want to take good pictures of my fiance''s ring too but the pictures came out really blur. I have a Canon S500 digital camara, any tips on how to take great pictures like yours?
I have read the other thread that was posted by you. You listed the spec. for the 1.03 ct stone, if I am not mistaking the one you purchased is the 1.17 ct. How is the spec. of this stone comparing to the 1.03 ct.?
Hi All .. sorry about the caps... I have to write my reports for work in all caps so its a force of habbit....
Mara... to get those shot I used my Streamlight Stinger flashlight and put it about a 10 inches behind the diamond..... Then I either had it sitting directly behind or at a slight angle and sometimes manupliated the cloth to get a shadow... i also had the lights off... and I think that you hav to use a powerful light source which is why my flash light worked out so well.... its not hard to do... it just takes some playing with !!!!
Kevin_79 I couldnt get my digital camera to focus in on the diamod either so I used my video camera , which has a built in digital camera, to take the shots of the diamond up close. Also yes, I bought the 1.174 carat diamond,, in which the specs were almost the same as the other one.... Ill post the sarin report for the 1.174... I the the other one scored a .9 on the HCA where the one I got scored a 1 ...
