Ok, I have 2 sapphires that are 3.74mm round. I have 2 diamonds that are round. One is 3.81mm, and one is 3.85mm.

Would it look really weird to have the sapphires closest to the center stone and then the diamonds on the outside, since they''re slightly larger? Or, are they close enough in size to not really be noticeable?

You could always have a thicker bezel/half bezel in the center two and a thinner bezel/half bezel on the ends. OR, you can channel set the lot of them, with thicker walls so you can "hide" the larger width of the end stones.

I think the size will be very close, almost imperceptible to the eye unless scrutinized closely. Have you seen what 0.1 mm is? That's even smaller than a dot on a piece of paper. if you have both the diamonds and sapphires, why not lay them side by side to see if you can see the difference in size?
