Another view, I only hope I can post the top down view, the forum doesn't seem to like that pic.

Ok, I'll try again...these are new rings.

1. Citrine checkerboard laser cut underside, w tsavorite, brown diamonds (on prongs) and yellow sapphire sides.

2. Amethyst checkerboard w tsavorite, ruby and white diamonds.

Both are 18k gold.

I am not sure I like them or not, they are almost medieval in appearance (at least to me), but certainly eye catching!

Win, they seem a bit medieval, but the center stones are just lovely, as are the craftsmanship! What lovely rings! How and where did you find them?!

Actually, my friend Thom made them. Apparently he had the idea in his head for a while, and then just decided to go for it.

He is, indeed, an excellent craftsman, and loves a challenge!

*grin*

Very interesting, i like them!

I like the amethyst one, it looks kind of like a garden/flowers and vines in the band - is that correct? I really love that look as I am a big fan of flowery things in general, if that makes sense, haha. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, CFF, in the amethyst one, the rubies are flower petals and I think the center stones are tsavorites, surrounded by white diamonds.

It's very attractive if you have long slim fingers!

Very well done, hand carved or CAD? either way, very well done.

David, I'll double check on Tuesday, but I believe they are hand carved.
