For the record, my first diamond was UNCERTIFIED (I can hear a collective gasp from thousands of pricescopers). And it was a nice diamond.

I think this is beautiful and you did a great job!

NeverEndingUpgrade...my original e-ring stone is not certified either, and I wear it proudly to this day (we were engaged in 1995)! I am not interested in upgrading it because I could never trade in the sentiment behind the diamond that my husband picked out lovingly for me. It may not be certed, but it is beautiful and I love it!

Thought I would just pop a note in to let everyone know that I had the independent appraisal done and the gemologist agrees with the IGI report on clarity and colour grades. Must be a conspiracy

On the avatar - Much to my partners dismay I am a geek and play tabletop wargames (Imagine lord of the rings in space) That guy is one of my miniatures that won a prize for the painting I did. Luckily for my girl this has given me a sharp eye and an interest in small shiny objects
