Showing off my antique garnet ring in yellow gold

Got this pretty yesterday! I don''t know much about the ring other than it dates from 1930''s - 1940''s. It''s a 7mm deep red garnet set in 14K yellow gold. A lot of fine milgrain work has been worn, but it''s charming nonetheless.

Thanks, all! This is actually the first piece of yellow gold that I''ve ever purchased. This ring is so organic, which is totally different than anything I own, or what I am normally attracted to. I find this ring and its age so romantic.

I put it on layaway. Should be mine sometime next month

Oh, you guys...

I will post hand pics - promise. I have my camera with me at work today since I went to go pay on my sapphire ring that''s on lawaway and I *thought* I had some nice hand pics of my garnet ring but I guess I deleted them when I upload them onto my home pc

But I did snap a few shots of my sapphire ring! I actually couldn''t resist and paid off the ring and so I''m wearing the little beauty as I type to you now! I did snap a few pics in the car...
