Damn you, it’s perfect!!! The color is gorgeous. Not too light, not too dark…just perfect.

Hopping on this thread to look for inspiration, I am having my first ever stone cut by Jeff White for an engagement ring, a gorgeous buttery light yellow sapphire! Once cut into a cushion it should be between 7.5 - 8.2mm. Never thought I'd go gaga for a stone but I cannot wait to see what he does with it, I have butterflies for real Y'all have officially hooked me

It's being recut into a cushion, maybe something like my profile photo but I'll decide that once he has it in hand

Phew, good to hear that, as I could see a sizeable window in that stone!

The pink Sapphire he sourced for me at Tucson 2020 had a window in the video he sent me, and I immediately asked if he would recut to get rid of the window, and he said yes. Otherwise I would not have bought it!

yes he's great at his craft so I'm sure he'll be able to close it right up for me a little windowing would be fine with me but this would be waaay more than I wanted

There is a long setting queue at the mo, so please don't hold your breath!

Oval mint Garnet - air gap/line halo?

Green Tourmaline - 3-stone with round LGD

Aqua - ringdant or a brooch pendant if doable, in a ballerina setting

Pink Pyrope Garnet - probably a Tiffany-inspired Legacy setting
