I love how diamonds give off all those pretty colors of the rainbow, when ths sun shines on them. I know there is a "fire" thread not sure if there is a "sunlight" thread

. If you have a favourite pic of your ring glistening in the sun..please post it for all of us to see! This is my 5 stone on the window sill.

Nice idea, Beau! I *love* the way diamonds look sparkling in the sun. I have a couple of shots where I was trying to capture the beauty.

Another one ... not a really crisp picture but I just love how it looks ... I was in the car at the time and I just remember how gorgeous it looked. I think that that''s why I love this "sun" picture so much.

I will have to keep trying to capture the sun sparkles as beautifully as you did in your picture. I see them when I''m driving but never get a chance to take the shot ... Oh well, another excuse to keep admiring my ring and to take pictures at stop lights. My fi just shakes his head. Poor thing. It must be hard to understand.

This is probably my favorite from my recent Playing in the Sun thread. The diamonds are all lit up, glowing as if from within, and you can see rainbows scattered on my fingers. Gotta love those diamonds!

Well... it isn''t my diamond, but lately I''m enjoying this rock in the sun (from Jewels by Erica Grace). I liked it so much I made it my avatar.

A rare find!!! This diamond is a circa 1910 Emerald Cut/Rectangular Asscher. EGL USA certed. Perfect condition, with no chips or nicks. The light play and brightness of this diamond is mesmerizing, with classic Asscher hall of mirrors faceting. The rectangular proportions of the stone make it even more special!

Weight: 1.86 carats
Measurements: 7.55mm x 5.91mm x 4.83mm
Depth: 81.7%
Table: 57%
Crown: 18.3%
Pavilion: 59.6%
Girdle: Very thin to slightly thick, polished
